Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Atlyn ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we receive your name, email address, and profile information from your Microsoft account through Microsoft Entra ID authentication.
Usage Data
On the website, we collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve our services. This website practice is separate from the visual-package behavior described in Section 7.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank account details. We receive only transaction confirmations and subscription status from Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide services: Manage your account, process subscriptions, authorize storefront downloads, and provide legacy license-key services where applicable.
- Improve our products: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and user experience.
- Communicate: Send transactional emails such as subscription confirmations, renewal reminders, and important service updates.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following trusted third parties:
- Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management.
- Microsoft: For authentication via Microsoft Entra ID.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at atlyn.help@gmail.com.
6. Cookies
We use minimal, functional cookies only — for authentication sessions and essential site functionality. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Report data and visual processing
Power BI supplies a visual with the fields, values, formatting settings, and host context selected by the report author. Those values may include personal information. The visual uses the supplied values within the Power BI visual host to calculate and render its chart, diagram, slicer, or interaction. Report authors and organizations remain responsible for the data they place in a report and for their Power BI permissions and governance.
The current visual packages are intended to process report data for the requested Power BI rendering and interaction. They do not intentionally send report field values or rendered report content to Atlyn for visual analytics or advertising, and Atlyn does not sell or share report data. This statement does not change the separate website usage-data practices described in Sections 1 and 6.
Telemetry and network requests
The current visual packages do not include Atlyn advertising or analytics telemetry. This statement is limited to the Power BI visual package and does not claim that Microsoft Power BI, a report owner, or an organization collects no diagnostics or usage information under its own policies.
The eight additional visual packages listed above contain no telemetry and make no external requests. They do not authenticate report authors or viewers, use license keys, call Atlyn licensing endpoints or Power BI native licensing APIs, or perform runtime subscription checks. This describes technical behavior, not unrestricted or perpetual use rights. The existing Atlyn customer terms separately authorize author acquisition and use during an active paid or trialing all-access subscription and allow shared-report viewing without a separate Atlyn subscription. The absence of technical deactivation at expiry does not extend author-use permission or change copyright or applicable open-source and third-party rights.
Some older visual packages may contact Atlyn's /api/licenses/validate endpoint to check entitlement. That request may include the license key and visual identifier. Atlyn uses this information to validate, support, secure, and administer the license; the validation request does not require report fields or report content. A license key may be associated with a storefront account, and standard network or service metadata may be processed when the request is handled. This legacy behavior does not apply to the eight additional packages and does not mean that every older visual requires a key.
The no-external-requests statement applies to those eight packages, not to the website or the Power BI host. Signing in, checking out, managing billing, and downloading packages continue to use normal website services, including Microsoft authentication and Stripe payment processing.
Storage, sharing, and control
Atlyn does not intentionally create a copy of report data for visual rendering. Account, licensing, payment, and support records are handled separately through the Atlyn storefront and its service providers as described above. Microsoft Power BI and the report owner's organization control the report, workspace, access, and host environment.
For a visual support question, privacy request, or question about this section, contact support@atlynco.com. Include the visual name and version when helpful, but do not send report data or personal information unless support requests it through an appropriate channel.
