Getting Started with Atlyn Visuals

Follow these steps to get up and running with Atlyn custom visuals for Power BI.

Create an Account

Sign in with your Microsoft account to create your Atlyn account. This links your Power BI identity and lets you manage subscriptions and licenses.

Tip: Use the same Microsoft account you use for Power BI to keep everything connected.

Start a Free Trial or Subscribe

Every visual comes with a 30-day free trial — no credit card required. When you're ready, choose a monthly or annual subscription from the pricing page.

Tip: Annual billing saves you approximately 20% compared to monthly billing.

Download the Visual

After subscribing, download the .pbiviz file from your dashboard. This is the Power BI custom visual package you'll import into your reports.

Install in Power BI

Open Power BI Desktop and import the visual:

  1. Go to the Visualizations pane
  2. Click the ... (ellipsis) menu
  3. Select Import a visual from a file
  4. Choose the downloaded .pbiviz file

The visual will appear in your Visualizations pane, ready to use.

Enter Your License Key

Activate the visual by entering your license key:

  1. Select the visual on your report canvas
  2. Open the Format pane
  3. Expand the License section
  4. Paste your license key and press Enter
Tip: You can find your license key in your Atlyn dashboard under Licenses.

Start Building Reports

You're all set! Drag data fields onto the visual and start building beautiful, interactive reports. Explore the Format pane for customization options like themes, colors, and layout settings.
